Expanding for the Future

The purchase is part of WindowSecurity.com’s current expansion strategy. WindowSecurity.com has expanded drastically in the last few months and has achieved a user base of over 250,000 visitors a month. In line with its intentions to introduce forums, WindowSecurity.com decided to make a bid for Security-Forums.com. “We were planning on starting our own message board, as we have done with many of our other sites. However after looking at Security-Forums.com we were convinced that the site would fit perfectly with WindowSecurity.com,” commented Stephen Chetcuti, manager of WindowSecurity.com. “Joining forces will allow us to provide a better all-round resource centre to the benefit of visitors.”

A Single Online Security Portal

Combining WindowSecurity.com’s 250,000 security administrators and IT professionals who visit monthly with over 25,000 Security-Forums.com members, the merger has given rise to one of the largest security portals on the Net. Visitors to both sites now have a single place to go to for all their security-related information.

The change of management will not affect the proficient running of Security-Forums.com that visitors have come to expect. Security-Forums.com will continue living up to its distinguished reputation thanks to its dedicated moderating teams who work tirelessly to ensure that the forums are run efficiently and the committed involvement of members of the community. Current site administrators and moderators will continue with their duties while present and new Security-Forums.com members will experience increased value through more prize giveaways, competitions and other such schemes which are planned for the future.

WindowSecurity.com’s initial plans for improvement and integration include upgrading the existing infrastructure to ensure optimum uptime for the forums, improving the site backend and improving the features available to users. In addition, special focus will be given to the content of the forums to ensure that the quality is retained and enhanced.
