Monitors and blocks fine. V9 handles monitoring SSL and blocking SSL. I think Matt may have had Application Detection set wrong. Even grabbing 64 bit apps now.

Doesn't work with WAN programs that use SSL. The program filters the program out with no way of configuring it to work.

Pearl Support Number:

"This message is in regards to your existing support issue: 00001703 titled: Pearl Echo v7.0."

Issue not solved. Had to remove client filtering to use program across WAN.

The server side of Pearl Echo has less configuration options then Net Nanny or Cyber Patrol.

I noticed that Pearl Echo doesn't monitor ALL traffic like it says. I tested it with Internet Explorer and everything was monitored. But, I also tried it with AOL, Mozilla, Firefox, and MyIE2 and none of them were monitored. Also Gaim, an open source instant messaging program that uses MSN, Yahoo, and Aim wasn't monitored.
